Identification, definition, and documentation of business processes

The starting point for analysing business processes is their identification, differentiation from each other, and detailed description (activities, roles involved, software used). Based on this information, business processes can be modelled in their current (as-is) state, using appropriate tools and in accordance with the international BPMN 2.0 standard.

Analysis of existing business processes and development of improvement suggestions

Together with the involved stakeholders, process steps are examined for ‘waste’ as well as the possibility of redesigning them, for example through the use of suitable software. As a result, a target (to-be) process model is created, which can also serve as a ‘guideline’ for the implementation of the modified process.

Workshops on process management

Due to the fact that the term ‘process‘ also has a meaning in everyday language, there is often a blending of this with the technical terminology. Workshops on process management can address this issue.

If your organisation already has experience with process management, the workshops will build on this to aim for a higher effectiveness of process orientation within your organisation.

Requirements analysis in digitalisation projects

When changes are made to existing or new digital products, business processes within the organisation also change. My professional experiences

My professional career includes a variety of positions.

After several years in port management, I changed to a regional government authority, later to a municipal association of enterprises. Following an academic employment I worked for a software agency and after that for a digital agency. Most recently I was employed by a non-governmental organisation.

Thanks to my diverse professional stations and the close collaboration with customers from various industries, I was able to gain valuable insights into various organisational structures as well as their working methods and procedures.
